Dr. Ifeanyi Benjamin Anigbo, of Schererville, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017 at Rush University Medical Center with his loving family at his side.
Dr Benjamin Ifeanyichukwu Anigbo. A faithful father, religious warrior, astute clinician, a doctor's doctor. Ben was a kind, quiet and gentle winner. He was born on September 4, 1956, in Enugu State, Nigeria to Sir Patrick and Lady Bridget Anigbo of Eke Community in Udi LSA, Enugu State, Benjamin Ifeanyichukwu Anigbo. He attended Medical School at the University of Nigeria College of Medicine, Nsukka, where he received his MBBS....

Dr. Ifeanyi Benjamin Anigbo, of Schererville, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 25, 2017 at Rush University Medical Center with his loving family at his side.
Dr Benjamin Ifeanyichukwu Anigbo. A faithful father, religious warrior, astute clinician, a doctor's doctor. Ben was a kind, quiet and gentle winner. He was born on September 4, 1956, in Enugu State, Nigeria to Sir Patrick and Lady Bridget Anigbo of Eke Community in Udi LSA, Enugu State, Benjamin Ifeanyichukwu Anigbo. He attended Medical School at the University of Nigeria College of Medicine, Nsukka, where he received his MBBS. Ben, as he was fondly called, a Board Certified Physician, practiced in Northwest Indiana. He completed his residency program in Family Medicine at Methodist Hospital, Gary, IN in 1996. Ben was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Schererville. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. Ben was happily married for 28 years. He is survived by his lovely wife, Valentina of Oghe in Enugu State; his sons Dadochukwu & FrankPatrick; his daughters Azunne and Obumneme, his brother, Dr. Anthony Anigbo, his sisters Kate Mbu, Mrs. Eugenia Monsi, Mrs. Carol Chiaghana and Dr (Mrs.) Eucheria Kenya, and loving nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.
A wake keeping service for Dr. Ifeanyi Benjamin Anigbo will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at The Romanian Orthodox Parish Hall (750 W. 61st Ave.; Merrillville, Indiana 46410) from 7:00 pm until 1:00 am. Visitation and viewing will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375). Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1 W. Wilhelm Rd.; Schererville, IN 46375) with Fr. Martin J. Dobrynski officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery.
